Congratulations to 11 year old Noah from Whittelsey, who is our first winner in our search for Peterborough’s Junior Community Champions.

Noah received three nominations from family and friends to recognise his amazing commitment to fundraising.

He started raising money with a cake sale, back in 2020 when he was only 8. Since then he has held two further cake sale fundraising days at Fishtastic in Cardea for various charities including Say Hello, Circles network and the UKIST. He has also done two Stand Up To Cancer events, which involved lots more baking and selling for CRUK.

Next on his list on September 2nd he will be doing a 24hr gaming challenge to raise money for Huntingdons disease which his Grandad suffers from, so its very personal for Noah. Princebuild have donated £1,500 to his fundraising which he was delighted with.

His Mum Charlene said “He absolutely loves raising money and always wants to help people where he can. He’s really made us proud.”

Thanks to Kev Lawrence and PCR fm who have helped us with the search for Peterborough’s Junior Community Champions.

Please see Noah’s fundraising page here and listen in to PCR fm on Friday morning for more winners!
