We are proud to share an update on our recent efforts to support the incredible work being done by Helping Our Ukrainian Friends (HOUFs). Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved in our fundraising efforts—particularly from the funds raised during this year’s annual 10k Challenge—the HOUFs team has been able to make significant contributions to communities in Ukraine.
In a recent mission, the HOUFs team travelled to Kyiv, delivering three 4×4 vehicles purchased in Romania with the donations from our campaign. These vehicles are a critical resource, helping to transport essential supplies, navigate difficult terrain, and support aid efforts in areas hit hardest by the ongoing conflict. The vehicles were greeted with immense gratitude by local teams who rely on this kind of support to continue their work.

Additionally, in a heart-warming gesture, HOUFs visited an orphanage in Sumy during one of their recent trips. They delivered a batch of Peterborough United football kits, generously donated by the club’s Commercial Director, Alex Harris. The kits were an immediate hit with the children at the orphanage, who have their own football team.

The donations to the orphanage not only lifted spirits but also demonstrated the power of sport in bringing joy and hope to young lives, even in the face of adversity.
We are incredibly thankful to everyone who contributed to these initiatives and to the team from HOUFs for their dedication. We remain committed to supporting such vital work, and we look forward to continuing our efforts in assisting those affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
