Our very own Group Brand and Marketing Manager, Carly, swapped her headset for fluffy ears yesterday, transforming into the Easter Bunny for a day of giving back to the community.

Armed with boxes full of Easter eggs, we brought cheer to two of the city’s most impactful charities – The Peterborough Soup Kitchen and The House Project.

Her first stop was The Peterborough Soup Kitchen, a vital volunteer-run charity that provides hot food and essential support to the homeless and those in need across the city. Operating seven days a week from its mobile unit in the city centre, the Soup Kitchen serves up compassion alongside nourishment, helping hundreds of people each month who are struggling with food poverty or homelessness.

From there, Carly hopped over to The House Project, another incredible local initiative helping care leavers take their first steps into independent living. The Peterborough House Project works closely with young people leaving care, offering tailored support, mentoring and access to stable housing. With a focus on empowerment, education and community, the project provides the tools needed for young people to thrive as they transition into adulthood.

Speaking about the day, Carly said:
“It was such a lovely thing to do for these amazing organisations. Both the Soup Kitchen and The House Project do phenomenal work in our community, and we’re proud to support them in any way we can.”

We are committed to giving back to the communities we serve, and this Easter effort is just one of many ways the team shows their ongoing support for local charities and causes.
