This year’s Liam Pridmore Memorial ride saw a great turnout of cyclists and supporters who were treated to a day full of cycling, live music and refreshments at the Golden Pheasant in Etton.

Princeenergy, a division of Princebuild Ltd supported the event, providing assistance with the planning and promotion, as well as assistance on the day at feed stations and along the routes.

This year, as an extra treat for the younger participants, Peeby, Princebuild’s mascot was waiting at the finish of the five mile route to give out medals and goody bags to all of the children crossing the line.

James Manning, Associate Director of Princeenergy and a member of the organising committee, commented “It was great to see so many people getting involved in the event this year, the weather was kind and all three routes were very much enjoyed by the cyclists.

“The event is now firmly part of the local calendar and provides a great day out for all the family as well as raising funds for charities close to the hearts of local people”

Funds raised on the day are to be split between the Brain Tumour Charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust Day Unit at Addenbrookes Hospital and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
